Biography

Ivy Anan Mawuko is a highly accomplished learning and development professional with over two decades of experience driving strategic learning initiatives in leading global and African organizations. As Director of Programmes at Nova Business School Africa, Ivy oversees the design, delivery, and management of all academic and executive education programmes, ensuring they meet the needs of a dynamic and evolving business landscape.  

Previously, Ivy served as Head of Learning for Africa Regions at Standard Bank Group, where she developed and executed a learning strategy across 20+ African markets, aligning skills development with the bank’s growth objectives. She has also held leadership roles at Stanbic Bank Ghana, where she managed country-wide learning initiatives, and at Golden Tulip Accra as Training Manager, where she focused on building capacity in the hospitality sector. Her expertise includes organization-wide learning assessments, talent management, and the creation of high-impact leadership programmes for corporate, non-profit, and government sectors.  

Ivy holds an MPhil in Gender and Development from the University of Bergen and is an Erickson-certified Solution Focused Coach. Her career reflects a deep commitment to fostering leadership excellence and creating transformative learning experiences that empower individuals and organizations to succeed.
